"We've heard about Gonzales Burger since our first visit to the RGV, but that was back in May when the place closes down after the Winter Texas season, so we weren't able to try it then. It was surprising to pull up to a non descript building with the only indication that there was a business of any sort located there being the open/closed sign hanging on the door and a few cars parked in front. They are not open after about 2 or whenever the fresh ground beef runs out. There were 4 5 people behind the open counter waiting on customers and then making the food but never saw any of them move out to the dining room to wipe down a table or two, all of which were dirty and sticky. I remember when I was a kid coming to this place love it glad they still open best burger around their onion rings are really great too

Best BURGERS in the valley(956) do I recommend it always staff is friendly service is awesome and the food to die for..1 of their burgers can feed 2... Make sure you take CASH ONLY!!!

Absolutely the best place! Burger meat was fresh, tasty and huge! And the bun matched the burger! Fresh toppings, fries and onion rings are great...what's not to love about this place??
