"recommendation tasted nice and fresh. Ordered three items from the menu, gumbo, chicken gizzards and the duck. The gumbo came cold, not even lukewarm, cold. They fixed that. Hot tasted much better. Gizzards were nice. Now the bummer. The duck came cold as well. I am not making this up. Either they used ice cold table ware or it was sitting forever bevor it was served. I only had a bite of the duck. Probably not bad if it would have been at least warm, better hot."

I had the chicken and dumplings very fine comfort food. I would have liked another slice of Texas toast in lieu of a couple dumplings, but as I said fantastic fare.

Always great — food is classic creole and always delicious. Cajun dishes too, also divine. Servers work hard for your table. Top 5 uptown dining experiences. Go there!
