"Visited on a whim, during a road trip... And we walked into an experience!! The people greeted us, not only the staff but other patrons... The food was some of the best food, that I have ever eaten!! They support local farmers, which made me love them even more! They could tell me exactly, where the cheese curds came from and who baked the pies... This place is a definite gem, and the world needs more places like it... I hope that I get to return someday!!!"

"Please be careful if you go to this diner. I had a salmon salad as recommended by the waitress. She said it was fresh. All I know is three hours later I go home and had food poisoning. I had Nothing!!! After I ate at the diner. I spent all night sick throwing up. I had to go to St Catherine's hospital ER and was admitted. I aspirated so much I ended up with sepsis and pnuemonia and a host of other ailments. Can I prove it was the salmon salad that made me sick? No I cannot. My friend got a turkey sandwich and was fine but all I know is I was laughing and fine hours before I went to the diner. After the diner I get brutally Ill. I cannot prove it was the diner food that literally got me deathly I'll but then it is a huge coincidence. Long iIsland has tons of places to eat. Please for your health do Not eat at Zonas. When I called the diner and told them my story of course they played Lawyer. Oh are you sure it was us? Are you sure you didn't have anything else to eat!? No, I had nothing else. Nasty people. So save yourself a huge hospital bill and eat somewhere else. Again I can't prove anything but it's awfully coincidental I got so sick a few hours after I ate there. Go to another diner please!!"
