"I came by myself on a Saturday evening when I was in the area and I enjoyed a really great meal. Other than bi bim bap, I am not very familiar with Korean food and I was interested in trying new food. The waiter was fantastic and suggested I order the cod roe appetizer and black bean noodle dish for an authentic dinner. Looking at the menu, these are two dishes I never would have thought to order so I appreciated the suggestion and did indeed love both. Fantastic Korean food the food was great, friendly service, and a great atmosphere! My least favourite food was the garlic fried chicken. The jajangmyeon was fantastic and it's a MUST order. If it's in season don't miss out on the soft shell crab! I would love to come back and if you haven't been to Hanjan reserve you spot now.

Food was delicious. The bartender was attentive and helpful. That being said, everything I ordered had rice, which made the meal super filling. I’d preferred to sample different things and still had room for dessert. Also, the black cod dish, while super delicious, there was more daikon on my plate than the fish. Slightly disappointed on the portion, but that’s minor.

Had a prix-fixe menu on a recent visit with a large group; the kitchen presented the dishes family-style, with ample helpings for all. The dishes were bright, pleasantly spicy, and full of freshness. The restaurant cheerfully accommodates large groups, and did make substitutions for two diners in our party with shellfish allergies. The noise reached a level that made conversation difficult except with one’s immediate neighbor.
