"Recently my parents brought me out for dinner. I'm Italian and I love Italian food. A few years ago, I decided to have a whole food-based, vegan lifestyle for several reasons. As a result, eating can be quite difficult often. I wrote all the ingredients I saw on the menu that I could eat, gave it to the cook and told him that he was as creative as he wanted only the listed ingredients. Amazing place! Food is great, Chef Lenny is the best. My family loves to eat here because of the friendly environment and mouth water food. Its Italian cuisine is some of the best food I ever had. His friendly staff strives for customer service!

Food Italian (my favorite) is very difficult for anyone who has a gluten allergy. However, the boss at The Happy Italian is always keen to prepare gluten-free dishes for me every time we go (what is one or twice a week now)!!! I love watching him prepare FRESH ingredients for every dish! It is amazing and so is food, gluten-free, vegan, classic Italian dishes and seafood.

My husband, I love Happy Italian. The food is so much more than pizza, although the pizza is so ingenious, we don't go anywhere else for pizza. The owner is very dedicated to the 1st rate ingredients. The Italian plate menu specials are wonderful; this is NOT-Kette Restaurant Essen. Thank you. Lenny, Sand Gavin for so many wonderful meals.
