As a visitor to the Ashtabula area twice a year I am always looking to find a hidden gem in the town. I recently stumbled upon Harbor Perk and OMG…. This place makes me think of home (NYC), the coffee is absolutely amazing as well food. Nothing compares to a large black coffee with an everything bagel loaded with lox and cream cheese. Mmmm mm good follow that up with the two most down to earth business owners I have ever dealt with. You guys have a customer for life, so much that I began ordering this coffee (grind form) and have it shipped to NY on the regular. Keep up the good work you guys are role models to small businesses nationwide.

I love the atmosphere. It has character that no purpose built building can match. This building has had a lot of History going through it. You can close your eyes and almost visualize the people many people who have passed through and the many events that have happened there. The baristas are very friendly and inviting. They make me enjoy going there, I always feel welcome to by them. I had a large Americano with three creams and two sugars. Very lovely fresh brewed coffee. I had the Hubbard scone with cranberries. Visiting Ashtabula Ohio, for the 4th of July holiday I stumbled upon this local coffee shop on Bridge Sheet. I was in the mood for a serious cup of coffee and was worried I wouldn’t be able to find one. I DID NOT want McDonald’s or Dunkin way to commercial. Upon walking in I was greeted by two brothers unbeknownst to me who were the owners. I was immediately made to feel like and old friend as I was served an amazing cup of coffee and a bagel sandwich named the “Terry”. I was absolutely speechless this place was amazing, from the service, the ambiance, and the quality of the product being served and sold.
