"Everyone was super nice and helpful. Manager was even willing to let me use her tire air compressor when we needed air. (ended up not having it but thankful just the same) will return. Very clean bathrooms too. They all deserve a raise! They made us all milkshakes. Service: Dine in Meal type: Brunch Price per person: $1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5"

We stopped twice on a road trip. Service was awesome the employees are friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent. The eggs, biscuits and gravy was delicious. The burgers and fries were hot and fresh. Definitely worth stopping if in the area. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

This was a pleasant surprise on a road trip. The staff was fantastic! This was also one of the cleanest fast-food restaurants I've ever been in, to include the restrooms. "We stayed in 5 star hotels that cost $500 per night and they did not compare to this place. The Putnam Lodge is by far the best place we have ever stayed. We were just a walk at 9:30 a.m. the night when we were greeted in us, we asked for a room and continued to check. I asked about the restaurant that she said they were closed at 9 but we could get a bite to eat as they would be happier to take care of all of us was so nice and friendly we asked what would be easy for them to prepare as they were now closed and they said everything you want in the menu is okay. The filet mignon bites were amazing. We then drove into our room, but we got a tour through the hotel and told about the history of the lodge that made the experience even better. We had a wonderful night to sleep a good breakfast that is different, depending on what is there. It was great for us. The cats, chickens and peacocks as well as the other birds were really cool and we do not forget that the dog is walking around. To sum it up if you are looking for a new updated boring hotel, this is not the place for you, but if you are looking for a beautiful old historical place with a cool history and secret space and a place where Al Capone stayed, then this is the place for you. I'm not sure, but I'd say there's a good chance it's chased too lol."

"The place would be good if the service was good but to be honest she was rude impatient and did not act like she wanted to be there. You should really look into getting better help because the Amber girl that made our food was just a nasty person. If she continues to work there trust I will not eat there.."

"Had only one Bacon Cheese Angus Burger Combo, hot apple cake cherry coke, everything was perfect. Great meal friendly service. The whole food was drunk hot. Many napkins, salt cats, very good. Thank you. I'm back."

"The best opportunity that could happen to this beautiful old historic place is NEW OWNERS! Extremely poorly managed! Food was ok, nothing to write home about considering prices (which I gladly pay at some other actual fine dining establishments). Second time we’ve tried this place and the last. We called ahead and made reservations for Friday night on holiday weekend, no problem. We were the only party other than maybe 3 other tables in the entire place. Waited over 15 minutes on drinks (not mixed drinks- simple bourbon wine for our table. 2 of our party of 4 had their filet entrees served THIRTY MINUTES before the rest of our tables’ food came out! (No explanation, no apologies from management whatsoever) Asked for after dinner coffee and dessert menu- they are “out” of coffee?! I never go into such detail or time to leave a review but felt the need to in this caseavoid this place at all cost if you want a nice dinner!!"
