Haus Arndt - Menü

So far I was just on a coffee or a drink at the house of Arndt, but last year my boss founded the Christmas celebration. I was surprised what excellent dishes could enchant Irish pub cuisine. It was super delicious! The service was great. Although we sat a bit cramped in the OG, this was only a small part due to the rich and delicious dishes. Therefore, the Arndt is also a very recommended address for food.

HiWe were shopping in Langenfeld near Leverkusen. The Irish pub is small, modest and painted in a traditional green and white of the area. Once inside the welcome from the staff was really lovely. We went upstairs to the dining area which was small and cosy. The menu was impressive, very traditional plus a touch of the Irish. I ordered a steak and salad, the steak was really soft and the salad was a mix of all vegetables not just lettuce and tomatoes. My husband had a traditional German dinner which he really enjoyed. The bill was surprisingly low for what we had. We will go again and I recommend you readers to go there.

The locals may forgive me, but I wouldn't call Langenfeld as particularly worth seeing. No city centre with historic buildings, a pure residential town halfway between Cologne and Düsseldorf. When I walk through the city centre, I always have only one semi-concrete house that I would like to call historical – the house Arndt. Built in 1667. Since the oldest secured date comes from a map of 1810, and there is no evidence that can be loaded for time – at least I was described in this way.
