Sandwich was on a fairly plain hamburger bun like from the grocery store. Sweet potatoes were cut into chunks and were very soft. Overall good food but small portions for the cost."

9 of us, everyone enjoyed their meals! Everything was delicious! Had a great waitress. if we're ever back in the area, definitely will make another visit!

Great hog sandwich! My husband and I shared one, the special, and the picture shows less than half, so it was more than plenty for both of us! Our waitress was also super friendly!

Very nice. attentive server and good food. I had baked half a plate rib combo with Brisket Coleslaw and beans. My wife had the New Orleans Burger. Everything was perfectly cooked and tasteful. Will definitely return to this place. 6-26-22 Update Essen is still fantastic! Big ribs, brisket, burger, Mexican beer!
