We were randomly in the area and craving tteokbokki and came across this spot to give a try. The dish was honestly not bad at all and we enjoyed the flavor of the spicy sauce a lot. The dish already comes with rice cakes, fish cakes, and an egg. We opted to add the ramen and cheese for an additional charge which we thought added more texture and sustenance to the dish and was well worth it! We got medium spice level and we were so glad we did because the spicy truly builds as you eat it and got more spicy as we went along. Ordered the curry katsu and house katsu sandwich (chicken), which came with fries. The breading on the katsu is fried well and is on the lighter side, which is nice. The portions were a good size. For me, the food is 3.5 stars, but to be fair, it's probably a matter of preference. The flavors and food were solid, but not quite my cup of tea. The katsu sauce has a pineapple taste to it. Normally I like pineapple, but not this time, and not in a katsu sauce. The curry sauce was also not spicy, though we ordered medium.
