"This restaurant is a local favorite that I had not had the opportunity to explore until recently. I heard there is usually a waiting period of 10 minutes, but after we found road parking, we didn't have to wait at all! On Saturday, 27th August, at dinner even, we were greeted directly in! The ambience is very theatrical/kozy/western. I loved the warm lighting, high ceilings and vintage decoration. We sat at the bar and were immediately greeted by the MOST friendly, professional and PATIENT bartender I've ever met. It took some time to come for our food, but if it was EVERYTHING we would have wanted!! The veggie onigiri was balanced, light perfection. The Tofu skewer was so crisp, but still...

The best food in Eugene hands down. Just betrayed that they don't get out... Veggie Burger is dying. Actually everything is to die, but then James Bond says there is no time to die. So let's just eat on Izakaya forever.

It was our first time here, we had a wonderful experience! The whole food was amazing, the drinks were fantastic (thanks to Austin!!! We will definitely come back every season for more fresh delicious food! We respected the decision of the restaurant to let only vaccinated people sit, it made us very safe (finally close to others.

Excellent, but never pretentious. Izakaya manages to welcome you home with the comfort of an old worn leather sofa. Melting to the old school country (just ask. You will share the playlist) and whisky cocktails, your palate comes alive with an eclectic mix of Japanese flavors. In the hands of another, a blatant power snaps securely, backfire but it is seamless. From Miso Shitake Mushrooms and Rock Fish to their inspired Key Lime Pie with goat's milk. I'm not sure what just happened, but I know I'll never be the same.
