"My wife and I went came through here a month or two ago with our newborn. We could not have asked for a better place to grab a bite to eat. Our waitress was so incredibly kind and warm. The fish and chips we got were some of the best fish and chips we’ve ever had. I will stop through here every time we venture out towards Cripple Creek!"

"The food was pretty good. I had a French dip. There was a little more cheese than I like, but overall a decent sandwich. I ordered fried shrimp with fries to go and wasn't given ketchup or cocktail sauce, so kind of a let down."

"Going to Maggie's is the best way to step back in time. We ordered their famous cookies and Gravy, and a sausage breakfast Burrito lubricated with green chilli. I also have one side of their pancakes. The meals we ordered would have fed 4-5 people (shares) easily and we were glad to take the rest with us. The eggs were perfect, the ash-browns were crispy, green chili was tasteful, without being excessively spicy, the pancakes and sausage sword have a deserved reputation! Next time in Cripple Creek (or even nearby) we are back to visit Maggie's!"

"Perhaps it's the heat or the fact that it was our first visit, but I don't think we'll be returning. My friend, who is an Irish immigrant, wasn't impressed either. The Guinness failed to pour properly on the first two tries, and you definitely want a good head on your pint. The French onion soup looked nothing like the pictures, though it was edible. Overall, I wouldn't recommend it and would suggest looking for alternatives before considering a return."
