"Waitress was on her game. Very apologetic. Food was terrible. Calzone came out burnt, breaded chicken cutlet for chicken parm, burnt. Medium rare ribeye can out well done. Everything sent back. Calzone remade, came out perfect. Ribeye over cooked the second time around. Breaded chicken, not as burnt as the first time, but still over cooked. Tasted like it came out of the freezer and thrown directly into the oven.Drove around the back of the building after leaving, after seeing the people hanging out in and outside the front door, I should have passed on this restaurant. How hard is it to run an Italian restaurant. I know you can do better than this Joe, this was a beyond terrible experience...

The food was not good and the fact two people was the only staff.The young waitress was kind but don't go .When I go to the restroom and it's so nasty I don't think it's been cleaned in a long time.Food: 1/5

Place is hit or miss. I've been and it's been great I've also been and it's been terrible. More consistency would go a long way. Last biggest issue I had was a server lying about a menu option for dessert.....Food: 3/5

The waitress accidentally brought my food with chicken in it but it was quickly corrected as I ordered mine with no meat. The owner came out and chatted with us which was nice and the atmosphere was exactly what we were looking for. We had a great time and The food was yummy and good value for the priceFood: 5/5

"The staff came to rescue yesterday. My sister had to go to the emergency room, so I drove from Kingsport. I just called for an hour, and they put together a Nugget plate and pommes, plates, cutlery, ice cream and cookies, and even made them a card that everyone has signed. They were really a blessing for us when no one had eaten and we didn't know when we were at home. Up and beyond customer service"

"We missed eating here for several years and wanted to celebrate our 45 wedding anniversary with a meal here, but my darling was sick so we had to wait a few days. As an old customer here we had really high expectations! Some employees were in the dining room, watching Olympics and they immediately gave us their full attention and welcomed us in. The atmosphere here is still phenomenal! It is very comfortable and relaxed. The restaurant was also very clean. The waitress, though she's brand new, is great, she was one of the best staff we had. She's excellent if she needs her guests without swimming. Really respected and is really warmth individual. Seated in front of the restaurant that allowed us a view of the kitchen at work or view out the window. We ordered a pork egg roll that was absolutely perfect and the best part of the meal. I ordered shrimps and chicken combination, my husband includes the scallops and shrimp combination, broccoli, carrots, Fried Rice. Offer pair other options. with a side order of Scallops and Broccoli. Of course we ordered Iced Tea and it was pretty good. Iced Tea served immediately and appeared within four minutes to most of our records and I thought oh no! With the first bite you can say that you eat leftovers. Scallops chew, shrimp little gumy, chicken tad dry and firm. Foods taste as if it was prepared on the first day and as ordered was reheated. It was still good, but not what it could be if fresh. How to cook good meal at home and remains the next day. So disappointed everything wanted to love. I gave 5 stars based on excellent staff, atmosphere, cleanliness and suspicion food is significantly better when closer to the opening. We were there at 3:00 and they open at 11:00 Willing to try again."

"I have the Sunny Side Burger, who was fried with a fried egg. Excellent. Really enjoyed the bungalow. Also frits are good, but go for the onion rings. My children got chicken fingers and they were good. Only what was not good was that it took about an hour to get food. Although I could say it was worth waiting."

"Frequent Diner..... While I 've tried several of the Copper Cellar restaurants, this one is the closest to me (drive time biased) and I really enjoy eating on the water. A+ for waterfront dining atmosphere. I usually get the Filet Mignon there and I have never been disappointed. Kid Friendly! The staff can provide day old bread to feed the huge fish and ducks from the restaurant balcony. C 'mon mom and dad...let the little ones have some fun! Tiki Bar. After dinner, you can continue an outdoor drink with live music on the newly rennovated outdoor dock. My only complaint is their outdoor bar menu is limited. Cons: I 'm a regular at Calhouns enough to know the menu/food really doesn 't change. My wife and I are regulars but don 't get excited about the food. It 's become a predictable, local favorite. I no longer visit their Smokey Mountain Brewery (Turkey Creek) because of this."
