"I was very satisfied with the food. Garlic shrimp are very delicious, so I recommend eating it as a combo with shrimp. If you don't like salty food, we recommend the steak combo. If you like the sweet and salty taste of soy sauce, we recommend the teriyaki chicken combo. I enjoyed the Deli Chicken Garlic Shrimp Combo. It seemed like a lot, but I got rid of it in no time after playing in the water in the morning. It would be better to take out and eat at Beach Park rather than inside a restaurant. Because people kept coming in, there were flies and it was a little dirty. But if you ask me to wipe the table, please do so : That’s kind. "After a beautiful day out at Waimanalo Beach, we 're always starving. Right down the street is Keneke 's, one of our favorite places to get take out. We stopped there after our beach day today. We ordered a double scoop of pineapple ice cream cone to eat while we waited for our food. Unexpectedly, they made two cones instead of just the one that we ordered, and when I brought it to their attention, they just gave us the 2nd one for free. Score! The second one went to my son. He and his girlfriend enjoyed them so much on this hot sunny day. The rest of the order was as follows: Double Deluxe hamburger with a side of steak fries the burger was not just delicious, but it was huge. My son 's girlfriend could only eat half of it. It came with a lot of cheese and she kept saying Mmmmmmm after every single bite. The steak fries unfortunately were not steak fries, they were more like McDonald 's fries, but we like those, so it wasn 't a big deal. Mahi mahi burger I no longer eat meat, so this hit the spot. It came with lots of lettuce, tomatoes, and red onions and is one of my most favorite sandwiches ever. I dream of this sandwich! The last thing we ordered was for my son, a chicken katsu plate lunch, with rice and Mac salad. The katsu was so fresh and crunchy and the mac salad had just the right amount of tang that made him eat bite after bite until it was gone. I ordered everything to go and since we live in town, it was a bit of a drive until we got home. The enticing aroma filled our car and we were all drooling by the time we arrived home. I usually go to the other Keneke 's, but this one is just as good. Hit them up during a beach day at Waimanalo, you 'll be really happy you did."

"I 'm a little upset right now. Just a little because these ladies aren 't going to take me out of my character at all. It 's New Year 's Eve and I 'm going to continue having a wonderful day but their behavior is disgusting and worth the review. My son and I were looking for something to eat on the way back from Waimanalo. We haven 't eaten here since Covid but we have given them a lot of business. Usually call in. Today I went in person. There were two old ladies cooking very slowly. They 'd glance up but never said one word. No hello, aloha, I 'll be right with you nothing. They continued to cook. I thought maybe they were just slammed for the day and someone would come take my order. I said hello. Nothing. I thought because they were old that they didn 't hear me. Silly me, I stood there a little bit longer because I 've been feeling a little under the weather and thought I just needed to speak louder. I asked hello can I order a little louder. One of the ladies said you didn 't order I said no but I 've been standing here for more than 10 minutes and you haven 't said anything. She threw her hands up and said well I 'm busy. These ladies were ignoring me. I said what; then say you 're not taking any more orders don 't just have me standing here and mumbling to each other hoping I leave. I don 't use bad language but they didn 't give a damn about my presence, me, an order, money nothing. Just old and rude. Please retire. Please do not give this place your business. I have never been treated this way and I 'm appalled. I went right over to Kim 's and got great service. I will never give these ladies another dime. What happened tonight was just shameful. When you run a business and you just don 't give a damn. No aloha. Just sick."
