"First time visitor to restaurant. Ordered food at 5:30pm and I was told 20 mins. Showed up 20 minutes later and was told they were swamped with orders so go and come back. Ok. Waited in car and went back in. The lady up front was completely frazzled. Their system of tracking orders and the kitchen is outdated. She brings 3 bags of food out and spend five minutes trying to match the bags with telephone numbers while 3 people are waiting. She disappears into the kitchen. She comes out while customers come and leave without ordering. Meanwhile my order did on the counter getting cold. Finally after an hour and 215 mins after opening the order, she comes out asks for my phone number and says Ah...

Pretty good food from Kao Gaeng. Our food was ready really quickly and we got it to go. We got the Pad See Ew which had a lot of flavor. The portion sizes weren't huge for the price, but it would be a good lunch size. There are lots of good options in the menu for everyone!

I ordered their house specialty shrimp, pea pods and baby corn for $11.95. There's literally 4 shrimp in my order . The rice should be in a separate container instead of bring included inside the container which took up more space than the entree itself .Pls beware. It's a complete rip off .

Just had Kao Gaeng for dinner and still feel hungry and unsatisfied. I ordered two very basic things, a chicken pad thai and mix vegetable beef entree. The entree was like a lunch portion, served in a half container with rice on one side. The vegetables tasted raw and were barely cooked. Then the chicken was way overcooked, had a rubbery texture and didn't taste like anything. Both sauces were passable, which was the saving grace, but pretty run-of-the-mill. My food experience didn't seem to match the high ratings.
