"Awesome local place to stay! Rooms are cute and comfortable, there’s tables outside in a courtyard and you’re right around the corner from a coffee shop, stores and a few restaurants. There’s a microwave and water in the lobby and fridge in your room. The front desk was very kind and had an iron and ironing board available for me to use. If staff aren’t present, just give them a call. They’re here in the day but it’s just you and other guests at night. Checking in and out is easy, just use the code they provide in the email and you have access to your room. Check out you just leave by 10 or 11am. Great stay with easy self check-in. The walls were a little thin, but a very pleasant stay otherwise.

No reception bare minimum room for the price expected a little more. Last day when tried to get back in room after going for coffee combination lock wouldn't open door so luckily I left window open so took screen off and climbed through window as know one around to help. All in all bad experience.

We paid $211/night total for Sun-Tue in January with queen bed. Rooms very comfortable, clean and well-maintained for an older place. Strange pillows seemed to want to inflate themselves, but not a big issue. Large grounds included event space. Outdoor picnic tables in a quiet courtyard setting. Contactless check-in/out worked fine. Quiet, near main drag in Hawi. Great bird noises at night.Location is excellent (I.e., short drive) for whale watching on NW coast of big island (Kapa’a Beach Park especially). Also close to Pololū gorge for a great hike.
