"This was my first time I experienced such a poor service at Kumar's. Not sure if it was because the waiters were new and under training. We were served rice and had to wait atleast 5-6 mins before curry was served. And this happened thrice on the same lunch!!! On the third occasion, we were served rice and the waiter went back to get curries. But after 3-4 mins, he came back with the plate of appalams; and then he had to go back again to get the curries. This time, my patience was tested and I had to shout at him. I do understand that Sunday afternoons are terribly busy at Kumar's, but this kind of service was totally unacceptable! I would suggest that Kumar's have the adequate no. of staff...

Food good,service needs improvement.None bothered to ask if everything was ok or if anything needed,had to look around and wait for someone to help.Longer wait for to go boxes,that day it wasn't crowded either.Rest always nice.

Kumar's mess is a place for people with love for food. Its not just the dishes they offer, but focus towards delivering to its customers. A simple thought of offering dishes to the table rather than buffet style, highlights the real gratitude offered to its consumers.
