"Whenever I am in my hometown I always visit this restaurant and when I was still living in my hometown I would go at least once a month. It's one of my favourite restaurants in the region because the friendly service, the great food, the...very reasonable prices, the huge terrace in summer with views over the Rhine river and their consistency in excellence. They are great for bigger groups too and if there ever is anything not completely to your liking, they will find a solution to make sure you leave as a happy customer with a full belly. Highly recommended and can't wait till my next visit"

The staff and the kitchen is spot on. We eat a very good pizzas and the waitress offer us a limoncelo from the house. It was really nice gesture

A pleasant surprise in a somewhat anonymous city. A family from Lecce, Italy run restaurant with friendly staff and broad selection of Italian dishes. Little, just enough really, is given in to please the local needs and therefore it stays true to the Italian tradition....Pizza is strongly recommended as the dough is one of the best in the region. If not the best

Left Edinburgh at noon to Frankfurt Arrived after in Emmerich and was guided by the hotel manager to try the Italian restaurant Pizzeria La Taverna A short walk and on this cool winter evening I enjoyed a great Italian meal One thing got wrong!...They only had Merlot as open wine and this is not my favourite However the meal was excellent and that made it up for the wine Really can recommend this place to any lovers of Italian food
