"we were in a two-room, pet friendly, holiday home. the location was ideal. about 5 minutes to foot in the city and convenient to many other sights in the surroundings. the rustic holiday home was clean and the kitchen sufficient on camp. the king bed was very comfortable and the beds of better quality. two freestanding a/c units kept the room comfortable. many opposites near to go our two dogs who traveled with us. Although there was a picnic table in the open, some terrace chairs would have been nice. so they bring themselves. bring them BBQ tools when they think they could use the grill. personal friendly and helpful. the restaurant/bar on the accommodation was only seconds away. the food...

the best room with king bed, private, whole, clean. it's open! it is the only lodge with a restaurant opened. beautiful lodge in the big north of michigan. highly recommended if you can get in.

we have just returned from another wonderful stay in leland lodge to home. the staff is great and the room was clean and spacious. we ate there twice and had wonderful meals each time (my favorite was the huge part of the Mac cheese we are very happy to come back soon.

we have always loved our travels to north michigan, but the ones we have just taken must take the cake and part of it is on our stay in the leland lodge! not only was our room more than we could have asked - good inexpensive, spacious, clean, beautiful intentionally nice pleasant, but the staff that the director brian was so friendly! the cookies, the wine bar, the restaurant and the extensive list of free services (like bikes to drive into the city, were such a tasty for us. we are already planning to book our next trip to the north and stay here all the time!
