"New Holland Brewing is a staple of West Michigan. Unfortunately, this location from where the namesake comes is also their worst restaurant for vegan options. If you are familiar with the local beers, you have had a Dragon’s Milk. It’s one of the most iconic drinks in West Michigan, and a personal favorite. If you have not been to New Holland to try it, definitely give it a go. And don’t let the name fool you, there is no actual milk in the drink. As far as the food goes, Holland is the worst of their locations. There is no vegan entree on the menu. The closest is a vegetarian black bean wrap. They no longer have the black bean burger. Their other locations have more vegan options; I would love to see them here. I ended up just getting a side of fries and a beer. It was a good beach day for me, so I was having a great time. I just know that this is not a place I will be returning for food. I recommend New Holland in Holland if you are looking for a good drink. However, for a meal, I would look elsewhere. "We actually found this Taqueria listed on the Grand Rapids list of places that got great reviews. So we had to come and try it ourselves! The area has plenty of parking. There’s plenty of tables with lots of room. We ordered the Texas Style Fajitas which consisted of chicken, shrimp and steak. Choice of flour or corn tortillas and rice and beans. The food was amazing!! Just enough to fill you up! The chips and salsa were also on point! The chips tasted warm and freshly made! I also ordered a mango margarita which was delicious with (I think it’s called that) tamarind pulp on the ring of the glass. If you haven’t tried it, you should!! Definitely will be coming back again! Left with full bellies and happy hearts!!"

"Upon going near the restaurant it is packed full of people. (We went here Thursday night) We were able to get the last available table thankfully. We were then handed menu's and a sushi menu in which you had to write the quantity of the items you wanted in each box. This was very helpful, because otherwise it would be very difficult to place our order. Receiving the food felt like forever but was worth it. The food was delicious. The spicy tuna roll specifically was really good. Our waitress was very nice also. I would love to go here again but it's over 100 miles away from home."

"JACKIES'S PLACE: This restaurant used to be our favorite. It's a little bit of a drive to get there but we always thought it was worth it we drive by many good restaurants to get there. Great food, friendly waitstaff and fair prices. However the owner passed away and whoever is running it now has issues. We have made the trek out there 3 times and each time they were short staffed, people backed up and yet they had tables that were not being used due to staffing I assume. 3 times in a row we were turned way and ate somewhere else. Tonight we checked their website and they were still open, so we took off for Jackie's nobody can blow it 4 times in a row. We called on the way to check the wait but strangely nobody picked up. We get there and they are now closed on Wednesday nights!!! Sure would be nice to update your website which says you are open or leave a message for callers. I think we are done....there are more professional options in the area."
