The Hornbrot is really good. Before noon or during Sunday you can order your small tablet menu for less than $5. I ordered fried flounder ..with toast..scramble egg and mash potatoes.. That was really good. Last Sunday in March 2022 we found that they have increased the price 1$ from the menu"

We drove through SC and looked for a place to eat and came across Lizard Thicket and thought it sounded like a good place to try. We are always looking for unique places to eat while on holiday. This place has good land cooking. I'd definitely eat here again if we'd ever go through. I will tell you that when you look at the disguise, it is more like filling, not like mamas dressing in Alabama . Lima beans were the best I ever had.

Today my daughter came to this restaurant for the first time. Not sure why it took 7 years, but the experience was worth waiting. Cynthia was a 5-star server. Their skills and timing were impeccable. Cynthia was also very charming. I'm looking forward to my next visit. The food was very south and freshly prepared. The grilled pound of cake is to die. Don't forget a bullet vanilla ice cream. The sawmill engraving on the chicken roast steak was much better than that of cracker barrel. The portions were right, but not too much. Like the Alabama claw. Great food.
