"I came back to Madigan's again this afternoon before 3pm for a late lunch. I was greeted and seated promptly. The waiter who I had was phenomenal his name was Delmar he greeted me within several minutes and took my drink order. His warm smile was so genuine and he looked me in the eye when he spoke with me. Too many waiters don't bother to make a personal connection but he sure had a passion for his job. I ordered the fish chips special along with a salad. My salad arrived within less than 5 minutes it was crispy and fresh. The fish and chips came within 10 minutes it was perfectly hot and the fries plentiful and crispy. A very nice restaurant on the water in beautiful Ocoquain. They have plenty of dining rooms plus a nice bar with live music some nights. They are good for groups. Nice variety of food and drinks. Excellent service.

I hadn't been here in years. Met a friend for dinner. The restaurant seems so casual, but the menu is much more formal than I thought. I had the crab chowder, which was sooo good. Delicious!! Then had the stuffed flounder. Also delicious!! My friend had the crab cakes. He said it was very good. Our waitress was new but good. I cannot wait to return.

We sat outside on the back patio overlooking the river for dinner on Friday night, the view was amazing. It wasn't busy and the weather was perfect. They had heaters on in the patio for warmth as the sun went down which was needed. Our server was patient with us throughout our meal. He offered suggestions when we asked and he steered us in the right direction. The crab cakes were mostly crab and not filling which was amazing! The crab chowder was delicious. We had key lime pie for dessert and it was good too. Cocktails were tasty and overall we had a lovely dinner.
