"Felt like Indian food so tried Maharaja… good thing I was there for the company, not the food. Liked the décor, and the food was okay, but the wait was ridiculous. There were only five of us! 30 minutes for the drinks, 45 for the chai. 30 minutes later we get rice… at least 30 minutes later we get everything that was supposed to go on the rice. 20 minutes later we all finally have our food and they bring out more rice to replace what was cold and what was half-eaten because we were so hungry we ate the rice while waiting. Ended up being too spicy for me for the most part (except the naan), but I took home the leftovers anyway ‘cause it was so expensive. I should have just got the naan, but...

Food is meh, butter chicken sauce varies can be good can be water. But their delivery service is horrible as it take away, there is no reason I should walk in to an empty restaurant with employees sitting at a table while my order took 1.5 hours same with delivery nearly 2 hours.

Excellent place to get some really good Indian food. They have a very wide selection of drinks appetizers main courses and desserts. The owner was very polite and attentive. The floors were clean and so were the restrooms. I ordered a curry and it was fan-freaking-tastic. I would recommend this quaint and cozy little restaurant to anyone that enjoys a good meal with lots of flavor. Their Chai was very good as well.

When my family and I first dined at Maharaja the food was absolutely wonderful. Some of the best Indian food I 've ever had in Germany. However, when I ordered the food for take out it was as though the food was made by a completely different and far worse restaurant. The Naan was obviously pre made pizza dough, and the curry for my Lamb Korma, my wife 's Palak Paneer had the same exact sauce which tasted like plain tomato soup. My wife outright refused to eat her meal. I honestly think the restaurant uses inferior food for take out and delivery. But they bring their A game for customers who show up to dine in because their complaints can actually be heard by the staff. I want that good food...
