Unfortunately, there has not been enough for a visit, there has been no criticism of GastroGuide since the entry. On 30.10., however, there was an opportunity for a visit, i.e. from Weinheim. The Maharaja is located in a corner house in the Weinheim Old Town. Parking is possible with a bit of luck directly at the restaurant or as we are located above the old town on a free car park, at least in the evening, with a five-minute walk over the marketplace to the restaurant. Lekker gegeten, eten was niet heet maar wel lekker gekruid. De zaak was netjes en het personeel erg vriendelijk. Mooi uitzicht op het terras aan de achterzijde van het restaurant

Wir waren hier am Sonntag Abend mit drei Personen zu besuch. Wir saßen im hinteren Teil des Restaurants im Wintergarten. Da wir zu dritt waren, konnten wir leider keinen zwei Personen Tisch auf dem Balkon haben. Gleichwohl hatten wir einen tollen Blick auf die Burg und die Altstadt Häuser. Die Dekoration einfach und nicht indisch überladen. Gleichwohl wirkt es ein wenig zu wenig.Das Essen war lecker und reichlich. Wir sind fast geplatzt mit Vorspeise und Hauptspeise. Der Service zuvorkommend und fix. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.

We spend an evening in the Maharaja few weeks ago. I have been to various Indian restaurants and I have to say this one is a little pricy, but it is totally worth it. The food quality is great, everything is tasty and prepared in a great way. We ordered the menu for two that night, which I can recommend, although the starters could have been a little more diverse, mostly pakoras. As main course we were served Chicken Korma and Tandoori meat. I had expected this to be 2 separate courses but it was served at the same time, family style.Again, the food was really great, service was good and we had a really nice evening!
