This place is amazing! The lobster bisque was unique compared to anything I've had and it was spot on. You can't go wrong with the lamb chops. Awesome!!

Upscale dining location in downtown Lynchburg. Decided to visit this beautiful restaurant on a Tuesday night. The atmosphere is mostly quiet with jazz music playing background. The waiter was really nice and professional, he knows the menu well and done a great job serving. My girlfriend and I ordered a smoked salmon classic for appetizer, steak frites and steak tenderloin for entrees, and pomegranate cheesecake and cream brule for desserts. Overall the experience is above expectation. If i can change something on the menu I will definitely recommend them using a higher quality bread for their smoked salmon classic. Continental Main Street Eatery is one of those solid places in Lynchburg where you can get a decent menu selection, very good service and some solid drinks in a very nice setting. Frankly, the food here is nothing spectacular and if your expectation is higher end, continental and German inspired menu items, you are going to be disappointed.
