"My husband and I docked our motor yacht at the Onancock marina and Mallards is right there at the dock. We made a reservation as it was Saturday night. We were seated on time, indoors per our request. Karen, our server, was pleasant and attentive. The atmosphere is casual as one would expect in a dockside seafood restaurant. The food was excellent! We had Mallard's salad, romaine salad, Mahi Mahi plate, rockfish plate and a creme brulee for dessert. We would visit Onancock again just to eat at Mallard's! Thank you for an enjoyable meal!"

The service was wonderful, we loved the rock fish and crab cakes, especially the beautiful view. I just didn’t love the instant mashed potatoes. Everything else was amazing!

Absolutely amazing spot to eat on the water. Affordable pricing (considering what you get), beautiful views, excellent service. We literally came here two nights in a row on our eastern shore vacay because it was soooo good. The dessert was to die for, too. Highly recommend!
