"Fantastic tapas in the heart of Washington Heights. Dimly lit, quiet, unassuming, and CASH ONLY! There is an ATM downstairs! We had their setas al ajillos, or sautéed mushrooms. They were tender and salty (in a good way). We also had Pan Catalan con Jamon Serrano, which consists of bread, tomato pate, and cured Serrano ham. We also shared a huge salad, the ensalada castellana, made with tons of textures and flavors, like manchego cheese, artichoke hearts, roasted tomatoes, and spinach, all tossed with a delicious vinaigrette. A great place for a romantic dinner.We had an assortment of tapas dishes including Octopus, Shrimps, Jamon Iberico.The service was very gentle, knowledgeable and friendly.Food: 5/5

What a find. Just went to Manolo last night for first time...it's fantastic, definitely a destination restaurant (we're Brooklyners). Had the osso bucco, which was succulent, tender and ample with lovely tiny potatoes and carror pieces. Then an amazing mango napoleon with a carmelized top. Service was prompt and friendly. Go and enjoy!
