"The decor of this Burke Mexican Salvadoran restaurant is warm and cozy. Nice bar. Staff is very friendly and efficient. I ordered takeout. Not quite sure what I think of it after only one visit, so giving it a 3.5 for now. Combinacion Mexicana (1 cheese and 1 ground beef enchilada,1 chicken taco, yellow rice, refried beans, pico de gallo): OK, overall. The enchiladas were topped with too much cheese (something I would never imagine myself saying) and too little sauce. The beef seasoning was very salty and detracting. Beans were over pureed. Consistently good food. Have only ordered takeout, but we are always pleased with our food. Our go to for Mexican food. Best in Burke.

Did Margaritas get a new chef? Food was way different and not as good. Pupusas were okay. Taquitos were way worse. Husband feels like they were taken out of a box frozen. Disappointed tonight.
