"One of the higher priced fine dining places in Macon. My medium steak came more medium well the medium, but still tasted good. I really liked the broccoli it was seasoned and cooked just how I like it, still just a slight crisp to it. Would have been nice to have two sprigs instead of the one they give you. I thought the grit soufflé waffle with shrimp was very tasty. Service was a bit slow, but thats becoming the norm with Covid it seems. It would also be nice if they could move the cigar lounge to upstairs instead of right when you enter. All in all a good experience. Ill be back for sure."

"Our dinner at Dovetail was really outstanding! The food and service were exceptional! Our waiter, Caleb, was very friendly and very knowledgeable. His recommendations for food and drink were on point. We started with the house pickles and deviled eggs and both were excellent. We shared the house salad and scallops, and the scallops were cooked perfectly! We also shared the sea bass entrée and it was also cooked to perfection! And whoever made that romesco sauce has got it going on, lol!!! We highly recommend Dovetail: great food and great service."

"Great service scrumptious yes I said scrumptious food! The shrimp was big and juicy and tasted fresh the salads were perfect. Soup was the perfect balance of broth and lobster pieces. no slack. The jambalaya hushpuppies are an acquired taste but live a little try something new. It was 50/50 at my table of likes but guys the place was great i can not wait to return.i really appreciate seeing all of the staff pitching in and helping No complaints went about 630 on a Thursday making your parking a little easier use the parking passport app the meters are a pain and go enjoy this wonderful treat that Macon has to offer."

"I was very pleased with both my meal and drinks. I sat at the bar on a Thursday evening and it was not crowded at all. A very cozy and intimate dinner spot right in the middle of downtown Macon. I love risotto so I tired the Risotto and broccoli with a salmon filet. Perfect portion size, very filling. I was pleased with the menu options and I will definitely be back to try more options. The bartender made me the most delicious Sangrini, also tried the Pear Martini, which was equally delicious."

"today sat 4-12 and bought 2 meal times. a meat salad with mac n cheese, cabbage, roll and the other was a fried chicken breast, with jalapeno paprika and cornbread. eating is/was delish, it is true to cook home. the young lady who prepared the teller was friendly as she smiled and made small talks with those in the line. it was my first visit. So I made a few things annoying as if I were back to the lady who made my teller after the cuckling at the front. Unfortunately the two children were rude at the front. not because of what they told me. but what they didn't say. I was not greeted, I was not offered any help when I looked at the dessert, I said it was my first time, and I did not see any prices for hot eating or dessert. they kept convot about the weight of young. that is inappropriate when they have a customer. I also tipped her, but it was unnoticed. I'm glad to be greeted and perhaps even said thank you for coming or something where I spend my money. but eating was 5 stars. I'll try them again. the next time I will not tap the sides at the front when I am treated like that."
