"This place is a must if you are in downtown San Juan Batista. House style cooking is super good! House wine, bread, soup, beans, salad, laminar are in front of the duck. Everything looks simple, but makes you feel that you are visiting a local home with a special hospitality. I've ordered lamb for duck. They served roasted lamb leg with their special spices. I had to eat with my hands because it's so big and fleshy. In the end, ice cream was served. It is a wonderful place for family and friends together. Recommend her pet food."

My family and I went to Easter and the food was great! I got the salmon as part of my meal. Super juciey but I had to add some salt and pepper to him (only complaints).

Delicious meal at the restaurant Basque Matxain Etxea. We divided three tapas over rice: shrimps, mussels and mushrooms. Great aromas and local atmosphere. Would definitely go back.

This place is incredible! Come hungry, the wine that comes with the meal is pretty good. No cocktails, check out Yelp for a free appetizer. Service was great. Cleanliness is impeccable. And the food is excellent. From the beginning of 5 courses or maybe 6 (can not quite remember) later everything was delecious. There were seven in our party. They all asked us a check or separated, we said separated. Had a few remnants, no problem they were accumulating them for us. We'll all be back.
