"This is the best of Indian restaurants in the area. My husband is from India so he is special about his dishes, but they will make them custom, the Dahl is very good as the Aloo. Make sure no ghee to make the dishes vegan. I give this a good Raring and they have added dozens of vegan menu items and they are now tagged with a whole vegan menu. You have a good staff that is friendly and remembers you. The hours are also a little uncomfortable, but they are fast and accommodating. "We normally love this place, it is great for a party of 2-4 , however anything more and the service is terrible and so is the food. We made a reservation in advance for a party of 16. It took 3 hours to get our food and when they brought it out they brought it out in pieces. Some of our party got only their entree, some of our party only got their sides and then some received nothing, then 15 20 min later... some of us received the other part of our dinner , while some in our party were still missing sides and one never got anything. I don't mind waiting but when we saw other parties come and go, then more come and go, we felt that our party was just being over looked. The food was not even hot , just barely warm, ... This was just a bad experience. When we asked to speak with a manager , he had more of the bouncer type mentality, he was not apologetic, we we not even asking for a refund or anything, we just wanted to express our unhappiness with the service and quality of the meal, and he was very intrusive, he was standing over us as to intimidate us verses truly caring about our experience. We usually go every year, and we have had poor service before but not like this, the service was so bad this time We are finally done with this place!!!!!"

"I know this is a bad evaluation, and I'm sorry. I ate here twice. but that was waiting for much too long both times, and eating is not worth waiting. pfeffer huhn (this is only black pfeffer) is not good. iced tee from Chinese restaurants is usually the best, but you are like water, and it is brewed by a machine, not in the kitchen. jumpfield has too many good Chinese options to go back here unfortunately."

"We ordered 6 meals for pickup a little over an hour before they closed last night. 3 meals were missing entirely and we were missing 2 sides on the meals we did receive. I called immediately to let them know what was missing and was told to come back and they would give us the rest of the food we paid for. I still had 3 guests waiting to eat so we immediately drove back over. When we got there expecting the rest of our order (as told on the phone) we were told they had changed their minds because they had already turned off the grill for the night. They were now going to refund the total cost of our order instead. I wanted the food more than the refund as our guests were waiting to eat. The 1st amount refunded was just for the missing food instead of the whole order like they had said. They even kept the whole tip including the based on the food they never provided. I made another call and it looks like I will now get a full refund. My guests (who had never eaten there before) still haven't and I bet they never will. They were not impressed. We also will never order from here again. The food is pretty good if you can get it, but it is not so special as to put up with such poor service."

"Sams Southern Eatery is a good choice if you are in the mood for seafood or chicken in a simple, relaxed atmosphere. The restaurant itself was quite clean (including the toilet). The sitting area was comfortable and the tables were spacious. They ordered from the posted menu and then took a place. The menu offered a quite wide selection of dishes, including burgers and sandwiches, chicken, fish and seafood. Traditional Cajun entrees like po' guys, etoffee, and gumbo were available, as well as several types of Cobbler for desert. Our food was top notch, and it was served with very little waiting time. My big rubber bag was just... big and very good. Gumbo in the south is usually quite delicious, but that was certainly over par. It came with a fried bread I've never had, but I'll definitely look for it now. We also had catfish fillets, fried shrimps and fried oysters, all seasoned and beautifully prepared. Chicken wings rounded off the meal and they were also pretty good. The supplements guarantee their own comments. Cole Slav and French Pommes were very good, but the star was the red beans and rice. The best I've ever eaten is sad, even better than mine. The staff were friendly and service was prompt. Prices were a bit at the end, but certainly not inappropriate in view of the quality of food. The menu has been nicely set up so you can mix your decisions a bit... 3 or 6 of them, 2 or 4 of them, etc. Many possible options to choose from. This was definitely a very good meal, and worth the effort to do another day. There are apparently 51 locations of SSE in the USA (especially in the central and southern states it appears), so if you happen on one... go in and enjoy a large southern meal."
