I almost always have a decent meal at meng’s with enough rest for lunch the next day (or a snack later in the evening). I almost always command the general tso’s tofu or the ma po tofu with some avocado and/or sweet potato sushi rolls. the escapes come with tears. the general tso is very sweet and sticky and has a few brokkoli in it. the ma po is a little blown and saucier with some baptized and carrots. These Tofu dishes have no tonne sweet, but if that's your ding cool. They do nothing well. We ordered Vegetable Lo Mein, the noodles were over cooked and the flavor was bland. There was none of the bits of wok sear that a good lo mein and a good Pad See Euw have. The Tofu Pad See Euw was the worst I have ever had in 20 years of eating this dish. The sauce lacked the savory sweetness that defines the recipe. The tofu, however, was perfectly cooked with an excellent texture. We also ordered the sweet potato roll. It was so bad, we each only ate one piece before abandoning the plate. I almost always order the General Tso's tofu or the Ma Po tofu with some avocado and/or sweet potato sushi rolls. The entrees come with rice. The General Tso's is VERY sweet and sticky and has some broccoli in it. The Ma Po is a little blander and saucier with some peas and carrots. These tofu dishes don't have a ton of vegetables, but if that's your thing, cool. If you want more vegetables, the prices aren't prohibitively expensive and you can get another entree.
