"Pretty Good. I had one roommate say it's fantastic, and one say it's horrible, so I had to try for myself. I went just before the dinner rush. It was starting to fill up, and I was seated immediately. First out was chips and salsa. They bring hot and mild. The mild is pretty bland, so I mixed a small amount of hot to make it the right temperature. I wasn't sure what to try as the menu has a lot to choose from. I opted for the large combination plate. Its ok. There was nothing to scream about but nothing to rave about either. It was ok. not my favorite mexican in the area, but I didn't go screaming from the restaurant either. If I was invited to go there I would...however I would never go out of my way to suggest we go there.

FRESH Mexican. Good food served very quickly. This is my favorite Mexican food outside of Texas. The Botana has super fresh ingredients. The chips are served HOT and the sauces are made fresh daily.The Crispy Flour Beef Taco is like you get in Texas authentic Mexican restaurants, and the braised pork burrito is absolutely INCREDIBLE!!BTW... some of the best coleslaw in town!!
