"We visited this Cafe for the first time after having a great time in the snow with our kids. When we arrived the parking area was a bit small however there was spaces available, there was a wait of 20 minutes for a table but the place is cozy and small with a gift shop in the front and an old cabin all americana vibe to it, we purchased 50 dollars worth or souvenirs and waited a believe more than 20 minutes;However the staff was very attentive but I must be honest regarding their food. It was terrible,no seasonings, overcooked and bland, fruit and mashed potatoe gravy mixed etc we ordered 3 hot chocolates to drink and 2 coffees which tasted very off, but essentially the hot chocolates had an oil film on top of them. One of our kids ended up with a stomach ache. Our bill was 90 dollars but to be honest based on their food I wouldn't visit again or yet recommend this restaurant! However the staff was friendly and very patient and those were nice qualities to find while visiting a new place"

"Grizzly Cafe is THE place to eat in Wrightwood. There is usually a wait and the service is mostly good, but the best part is the food. A big menu of breakfast and lunch items with some interesting combinations. Overall the food is better than expected and comes out fast too. Enjoy! "Blue Ridge Inn provided an all around great dining experience. My wife and I went on a recent Saturday evening. The Blue Ridge has a cozy, intimate atmosphere. Overall this place checks off several boxes. The menu is small which hopefully means they are stocking fresh items since they don't have a giant menu to be served. The fire roasted artichoke was delicious. I had the ribeye steak, which was cooked exactly how I ordered it. My wife had the fish and chips, which were excellent. The batter and fry on the fish was perfect. The chips were well seasoned and crispy. The Blue Ridge also has a bar towards the front of the establishment, which looked like a nice place to have a drink. All around a great experience and we will return."

"What a surprise. We had a great meal! We got the Kung Pao chicken, beef chow mein and three sushi rolls. The sushi was very fresh and delicious. I thought the rice was a little bit sticky but overall the flavor combinations they put together were excellent! The spicy one (can't remember the name) was awesome with cilantro and fresh jalapeno. They also didn't hide behind a lot of fried parts of the sushi but instead a lot of fresh fish. It's not super cheap but you get a ton of food and we brought home a lot of leftovers. For being in the heart of Wrightwood with only about five or six other restaurant options it is clearly one of the best and we've tried them all!! The owners were so attentive!!"
