"I was looking forward to trying Mirabelle again after a bad experience we had when they were at their old location years ago. I had friends from out of town in and we were looking for an historical venue to go along with a local revolutionary war event in Setauket and The Three Village Inn fit the bill. Unfortunately, I was unimpressed overall with our experience. The waiter was terrific, no problem there. We asked for the Tavern portion of the restaurant, hoping for that old Colonial Tavern feel, which it partially delivered. We have dined at Mirabelle since its inception at Three Village Inn. We are local and like the bistro atmosphere and lovely location. We just wish that the food was a bit better. The fish in the fish and chips entree was overcooked and my husband's mussels dish had very little flavor. The plum in the signature Mirabelle cocktail was rancid, but the most disturbing recent addition was a $7.00 charge for bread! I must add that the service was the best we've had at Mirabelle in memory. Thank you Maria!

"Antike Ginger has the BEST pig dumplings on the island. These dumplings have the most incredible taste you could ask in a dumpling. Apart from the taste, the authenticity of these dumplings is unsurpassed. When someone who had dumplings from many Chinese food places, I really believe that every dumpling is made from the old Ginger with the greatest championship. The packaging is not the thick, flour mass you get like most places around here; it is thin, light and wears the taste of filling beautiful. My friends and family agree. "I have noticed an increasing number of 1-star reviews, and after reading them, I understand why. Many customers have complained about the rude staff at this restaurant. My fiancée and I moved to New York a few years ago and have always enjoyed having breakfast at Bagel Express occasionally. The owner is very nice. However, when my fiancée went to pick up two dozen bagels for our Thanksgiving gathering, she encountered a negative experience. Despite arriving early to ensure there were enough bagels, the guy behind the counter gave her a nasty look and made a sarcastic comment to another customer about "out of towners." Although my fiancée handled the situation politely, it was still hurtful. As a result, we will no longer be recommending Bagel Express."

"Place was cozy and comfortable. We sat in the bar area. Service was nice but very slow. We had bar food which was good. However when the place started filling up and they needed to flip the table, which I understand...but we were rushed out. I was literally still biting my sandwich and the owner asked if I wanted my fries wrapped up and was taking my plate away. Then got over charged for a drink that we didn 't have, so that left a bad taste in my mouth. I would go there again to try the entrees. Seemed like they catered to regulars and rushed people out to make room."

"This is a great restaurant that looks much better on the inside than the outside. From the outside it looks like a typical strip mall joint but inside it is pretty and peaceful. The service is wonderful and the prices, especially for lunch, are very reasonable. We will be back!"

"I would strongly advise against ordering from this restaurant, unless you want to waste your time and gas. I placed an order through Grubhub and when I attempted to pick up my food, they claimed they had already taken care of my order because they were too busy with other customers. The order was never canceled on my end and Grubhub still charged me for it. When I called to discuss the issue, the staff told me to just wait, as if I hadn't spent $50 for no food and wasted gas driving there. I placed my order at 7pm and didn't receive it until 8:40pm. Overall, the service was unacceptable. I cannot speak to the taste of the food, but based on this experience alone, I have no desire to eat here again."
