"I've enjoyed Chef Stephanie Tyson's food for years, mourning the loss of menu items like eggs sardou, a temporary loss of mambo chicken sandwiches, and the best **** mary in town made by the best bartender/manager/brunch date (Kathy, you are missed! WS could know. Now that I live in Ohio, I'm grateful I have Chef Tyson's cookbooks up north with me even if I have to drive back to NC now and then to stock up on grits and smoked turkey wings (and of course plan a meetup with friends at Sweet Potatoes while I'm in town . I was pumped to hear about the planned move to a larger location and the accompanying Miss Ora's Kitchen! More pumped to know I could help with the kickstarter and invest in a...

The food is delicious and the staff is friendly. Surprise! You can eat in and watch them fry chicken if there is room at the bar. You probably won't be able to finish the lunch box in one sitting. Don't forget dessert.

The chicken is fried perfectly golden and not too salty. Greens are absolutely perfect and those biscuits are to die for. They even stuck a few pieces of fatback in the box for my grandmother bringing back so many memories for her. And the staff is very kind excellent job!

"I have yet to try another hibachi in Winston-Salem that tops this one for me. Kimono is a staple! There are several locations around, including Clemmons, Welcome, and Kernersville, but I'm most familiar with this location. 9 times out of 10, I usually opt for takeout, because hibachi is just one of those meals that is easy to grab and go. If you're going that route, this location does a high volume of takeout, so they've got it down. They're always pleasant on the phone, and I've never had my order be incorrect. And let me tell ya, I get a LOT of takeout from Kimono. I wanted to grab something prior to grocery shopping, so this particular instance I decided to dine in. My mom and I split the Kimono for 2, which is honestly a stellar value. It's $34 total, but this gets you a TON of food. It comes with chicken, steak, shrimp and scallops. No decision making needed here! You can also do rice or noodles, and I love having that option. Both are delicious! You can also do hibachi, teriyaki or spicy teriyaki. I can't remember if you get soup or salad or both, but I know I walked away with another full meal. They do a really nice presentation too. The scallops have a nice little sear, the steak is tender, the chicken is flavorful... it's just good food. This comes out to under $20 a person and I just really don't think you can beat the portions and the prices. The service is always prompt and friendly, and they're good about accommodating bigger parties. I often see a lot of families, so it's definitely family friendly. The parking lot is behind the building."

"The food at this restaurant is consistently delicious, but I have had issues with receiving the drinks I order 90% of the time. This is not a problem I encounter with other Doordash deliveries, so it seems that there may be an issue with how La Carreta prepares delivery orders for drivers."

"We had a nice culinary experience on Christmas Eve. The only problem we had is that a few items we were looking forward to order are not on the menu, like the Shrimp Grits and the Peace Chicken, which I expected to be stacking the restaurant. Nevertheless, we had a good time and the service was very good."

"First time eating here. New to the area. I give the food here 3 stars. Dishes were too fishy for my taste and maybe had too much vinegar as it was a lil vomit-y tasting. Drunken noodles are typically my fav but they were a let down here but I?m used to the city, where food is on point. One real issue was the scallops on the fried rice. They were not cooked through and were raw in the middle.Through them on the skillet for a bit longer. Maybe I got the cook on a bad night(Friday night) so maybe I?ll give it another try after the next place. Any recommendations chime in!"

"I first tried River Birch Lodge because of the large gluten free menu. They were out of the GF chicken tenders, which was disappointing, but the food I did get was delicious. I love Brussels sprouts when they are cooked well (well done) and these are some of the best I've ever had. The french fries were also really good. I've never had a rum cake before and it had a unique flavor to it, but it was delicious. Most importantly, I didn't have any gluten reactions to the food. I don't live nearby, unfortunately, but now I try to stop by any time I am in the area. I highly recommend it, especially if you are looking for delicious gluten free options."
