"I am not a big fan of salads, but I decided to try Mixt Greens for lunch recently. I usually avoid places like this because I prefer richer foods, but I wanted to switch things up. Beware of the salad bar as there was a worm in it, and the ingredients did not seem fresh as we both saw and tasted.

I adore this restaurant. They have a cozy outdoor seating area with about 8 small tables. The salads are delicious and the service is incredibly quick.

Solid make-your-own salad point. The distribution of $12-16 to lunch today is quite the norm in downtown SF, so not really sure why there are complaints about the price here. Long line, but it moved very fast. Total positive experience.
