"Fantastic experience. I hadn't been here since before the pandemic and finally got around to trying it again, and it was just as good as I remembered. Our waitress was amazing and kept up on refills- which was greatly appreciated considering the hot day outside. Restaurant is back to the split business hours, between lunch and dinner and I am happy about it. Everything was fresh, hot and delicious. Best spot in the east village for Japanese food.

Miyabi 9 is the best sushi joint I’ve been to in Iowa. I have dined here twice, and both times I found the service to be excellent and the food was delicious. My favorites so far include the: unagi nigiri, soba noodle bowl, amaebi nigiri, ika nigiri I had some strict dietary restrictions due to a medical condition (this was a year ago) and I still appreciate how accommodating and kind our waitress was. Customers who don’t like noise may be a bit turned off by the atmosphere, but I thought the music was fun and didn’t mind it since the food was so good.
