"we were here on 21.09.2019 with 8 persons, chaos, chaos.... Food was served cold, then it went back to warm up, then it came again, main dishes like steaks were now warm the supplements were not yet on the table, on several questions are then after approx. 10-15 minutes the supplements like pommes etc. were served, also warm again, but the most important foods were now also lukewarm warm again, so seen everything was cold, I can only not learnable!!!! personally was excited, has apologised several times, the boss has observed everything from afar, did not come to the table, as apologising that there was a round drink from the house, but on the outside day. "The waiting time for the food was very long (45 min.) for an older person who was there. In the beginning it was, because of an open entrance door, gigantic and cold until several guests complained. Then the door was closed. I have not found a roll-right toilet on the normal toilets, it is difficult to impossible for cyclists. All in all, it was still a nice stay in the MAXX!"

"The restaurant Torhaus Möhnesee, an old half-timbered house in Delecke an der Möhnesee (Arnsberger Str. 4, 59519 Möhnesee, is very beautifully situated in the forest. The guest room is L-shaped. The building is followed by a bright winter garden. Furnishing and decoration are very tasteful, with a lot of attention chosen to detail. There is something to discover everywhere, a beautiful combination of natural materials and rustic objects. In front of the gate house there is a small beer garden behind the building. This one goes into a sculpture garden, which in turn extends into the adjacent forest. Here you can discover lush corners where you can sit and enjoy for a while. At least one hour you should take time for garden and forest. I'm not going to betray anything here, dear to discover myself! Audience: mixed, old people, young people, families, rafters, family meeting ... We were there on Mother's Day Sunday, the Torhaus was rugged. The service personnel were attentive and polite. Our food: small appetizer salad, asparagus, Rumpsteak Zander, potatoes, side salad Chicken Crossies, pommes were cooked, finely seasoned and well tasted. Delicious salad with meadow herbs. All ingredients were fresh, visually, as tastefully matched. We can recommend the gatehouse without smashing. Food, drinks, service, ambience outside like inside: there is nothing to complain. Price performance: very good (When leaving the restaurant, we discovered fantastic, tasty looking cakes served in really big pieces. If we hadn't eaten so delicious, we would have put a coffee time right away! Menu: There was a Mother's Day Card Beef Coat €4.50; white asparagus bubbles 5,20 € Salad Aunt Fine : 9,80 €; Salad of white and green asparagus: 13,90 € serving Dellbrücker asparagus: 11,90 € with pork fillet: 18,90 € or salmon steak: 20,90€ or Rumpsteak: 22,90 € Schnitzel Öhm Wilm : 13,50 € Zanderfilet: 15,90 € for children: Chicken Crossies Laune Bear : 5,70 €; Small, crispy chips: 6,70 € mascara orange cream: 5,90 €; There was ice on demand. "Das Geronimo ist ein Café & Restaurant mit nahezu perfekter Lage am Ufer des Möhnesee. Laut eigener Beschreibung wird American Food geboten und Biker sind willkommen.Bei schönem Wetter geben sich die Biker in der Tat die Klinke in die Hand und das Geronimo ist im Innen- und Außenbereich bis auf den letzten Platz besetzt. Dennoch ist der Service freundlich, schnell und meist recht aufmerksam.Die Qualität der Speisen ist ok, mehr aber auch nicht - besonders die Pommes zum Burger waren entäuschend, da weitgend geschmacklos. Der Milchkaffee war recht annehmbar, aber der Espresso wareinfach nur schlecht.Die Lage am Ufer des Möhnesees ist klasse und der Ausblick von der Terasse ist sehr schön. Trotz der Lage ist das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis absolut i.O.!"
