"I never leave reviews but this was awful. We got the egg drop soup, fried rice, and orange chicken. The egg drop soup was like scrambled eggs in a thin broth. The fried rice had no flavor. The orange chicken didn't taste like orange chicken at all and for the cost was such a small amount."

"I am a frequent customer here because I work long hours and don't have time to cook. Unfortunately, my recent experience was disappointing. I ordered fries with my meal but they forgot to include them, even though I had already paid for them. When I called to inquire about the missing item, they told me to speak to the manager the next day, which seemed excessive for a $3.50 order. Eventually, they suggested I come in person to get a refund or receive the missing fries, but the customer service was unfriendly and the call was ended abruptly. Overall, I cannot in good conscience recommend this restaurant."

"Wow, what a great find! The chicken chilaquiles were so good, as was the omelette my wife had. We both shared the beignets and were pleasantly surprised; they were fresh, light and fluffy, which came with a side of syrup. Their coffee wasn't bad either. I'd personally advise against the biscuits; they resembled dense dinner rolls more than biscuits unfortunately. I definitely recommend giving this place a shot; we look forward to visiting again the next time we are in town."

"There are 11 different meat options available at this restaurant. I have tried them all separately inside the large quesadillas. Here are my ratings: Adobada (Marinated Pork) 10/10, Cabeza (Beef Head) 9/10, Chorizo (Pork Sausage) 8.5/10, Carnitas (Pulled Pork) 8.2/10, Birria (Beef Stew) 8/10, Lengua (Beef Tongue) 7.5/10, Tripas (Beef Stomach) 7.3/10, Buche (Pork Stomach) 7/10, Vegetarian (zucchini, tomato, peppers, mushrooms, onions) 6.5/10, Asada (Beef Steak) 6.5/10, Pollo (Chicken) 6/10, Chicharrón (Fried Pork Skin) 5.5/10. I recommend ordering the Adobada when you get tacos, tortas, nachos, quesadillas, etc. As for the drinks, here is how I rate them: Piña Colada 8/10, Jamaica 8/10, Tamarindo 7.5/10, Horchata 7/10, Michelada 5/10, Orange Juice 4/10, Coffee 2/10. I have always received good service and enjoy the chips and salsa that are provided after I sit down. I appreciate that this place stays open 2 hours later than other Mexican restaurants in Old Town."

"Bottom Line: This place is slowly slipping I have been coming here for years and it has always been pretty good but the last two or three visits have been a bit different. This last time I came in with my son and we ordered two rolls and a bulgogi bowl. We stood at the counter for 5-10 minutes before anyone was available to take our order. Once we ordered, we sat down to wait and since there was only a couple tables occupied and nobody else in line we figured it would be relatively quick. We sat and waited for 10-15 minutes and the to go containers started stacking up in the kitchen window but nobody around to distribute the food. Some of the boxes were for us but there were a bunch more for other people. We sat and sat, waiting. One of the go to containers opened on its own, revealing our food and we continued to wait until the point where the cooks were talking and pointing over at us, clearly understanding that this was our food. After a little while longer, someone came back up to the front and packed everything up and we were on our way. My son and I walked over to On the Alley (where the rest of our family were sitting and by the time I had arranged everything at our table, my son had already finished the California roll. I was about to head back and ask them if it had been forgotten but my son is very much a growing boy and was able to communicate with only his hands (as he was already chewing on bits of the Rainbow roll.... that he had already consumed the first roll. The food is still pretty good but the service side is slipping a bit"
