"My wife found this place on our way home from the beach. We didn’t want fast food but also didn’t want to stop at a sit-down restaurant that would take forever and be expensive. Mom’s Place hit the nail on the head. Real home cooking soul food that is made with love. All the staff were super friendly. We sat on the shaded front porch and enjoyed our southern cookin before continuing on our trip home. Saving this spot in my phone for our next beach trip!"

Never heard of it till we decided to make a stop on our family vacation. I got the double cheeseburger and fries with the red kool-aid and they recommended everything on that menu was the bomb. When I tried the kool-aid it was the best kool-aid I had drank in a very long time!. My fries felt like they was made with love and my burger was a delicious bite of heaven! Thank you guys!

I'm so embarrassed to say that I waited 6 months to try this place. If I knew how amazing the food was, i would have been there immediately! The collards were AMAZING!!! Ribs, Mac and cheese, and country fried steak were all great! My husband said that the fried pickles were the best he's ever had. If you're looking for great soul food with a big smile, look no further. We will be back for more soon!
