"I visited Montmartre with my daughter for breakfast in March 2023. I had specifically reserved beforehand, as it was a ‘date’ with my daughter, so was meant to be special. We were met by a busy waitress, and put at a table for 4, and were asked if it fine if others join us? We wanted privacy, so when a smaller table for 2 came free, we asked to move. She was not friendly or happy about it. Wrong coffee order arrived. We were not given cutlery, so when our food arrived, we had to wait for her to bring knives and forks (we in fact asked if we can take from the empty table next to us, she shook her head . Delicious breakfast, we had the tartine and a croissant. Coffee was great and the outdoor seating is really nice!

amazing place, unfortunately incompetent waitress who lies about seats being reserved. they turned out to be free for an hour and she made me leave the place instead of offering to have a coffee for an hour. was she expecting a rich Russian oligarch to come in instead? i dont know. my friend managed to get the seat, she then handed in the bill 15min before the reservation was booked for. what an unfriendly human being. down to 3 stars from 5. pity!
