"Eh. Pretty expensive now and portions dropped. Very plain. Can't keep workers for more than 3 weeks. Peppercinis taste like kalamto olives. $18+ for a gyro, drink, and small salad... while you're right next door to Joe's KC? It is no wonder why your store is a ghost town outside of 4 total hours the entire week.Just go. Consumers and workers alike are tired of garbage merchants like you who do the absolute minimum. You're doing nobody any favors with your food price or your labor offerings. You're at food truck status with building rent overheard. Lmfao. The food trucks got more flavor though and cost less.I think yall are done, along with many others. Just give it up.Seriously. That Home Gr...

First off I will say, I have always loved Mr. Gryos and their food! But I will say this location goes above and beyond and has the best customer service! Taylor took our order was SO kind and answered our questions and made sure we had everything! Nowadays it’s hard to find good, quality customer service so had to give a shout out when credit is due!

I usually visit the location on Metcalf Ave, which is great and the original (to me) which we always make a stop to when visiting KC. This location seemed to be more friendly, but was interestingly empty, and on a Saturday! I am cutting down on the carbs so I had the chopped salad which was good, but could have used more feta. That is one of my favorite protest chants, More Feta! More Feta! More Feta! If you haven 't had a gyro anywhere else, try here first, and every other place will disappoint you. And, I must recommend strongly the Dolmades, served hot (as they always should be) with fresh lemon squeezed over the top of them. The location is okay, dressed up in the usual Greek they have,...

"Ooo la la!. We joined another couple for our first visit to Café Provence last week and we were all blown away by the food quality, the service, the ambiance, and the overall experience. We never expected an exquisite gem like this to be nestled in a suburban shopping center. Walking in is like being transported to a classic French restaurant on the Left Bank. The artwork and the 1950s French fashion photos combined with the way the tables were set and arranged (and the de rigueur bar area) to provide a wonderful warm welcome. The food and wine were spectacular-classic French fare executed with skill and passion. This is a family-run restaurant and the love and care that go into each offering were front and center. Some favorites: a warm octopus salad that was perfectly grilled, seasoned, and sauced; the best escargots in town; a French onion soup that bursts with layered flavors; and unbelievably skillful handlings of salmon (seared, with cabbage, mushrooms and a sublime sauce), pork (braised, with chorizo and pea risotto), chicken (sautéed, with grilled asparagus and an otherworldly Morel cream sauce), and a cod special (seared, with sautéed mushrooms, prosciutto, and a magnificent sauce). Don't miss desserts! A local woman provides freshly made sorbets that are inventive and delicious. All the other desserts are prepared in house and are perfect ways to cap a meal, especially the banana crepes and the chocolate cake. The service is friendly, impeccable, and unobtrusive. It was a perfect (and unexpected) evening; we are already planning a return."

"decided to participate in Restaurant Week (first time ever) to help us mothers 70. celebrate birthday. We started the Rave reviews of Story when we were desperate in ideas (we live about an hour west of KC and were never in Prairie Village) and decided that we should be adventurous, though it was 6pm. Our first call was to Story and without a problem, secured the first available reservation at 730 hrs. how happy is that? Our ideal table was waiting for us and the place was full! Very sophisticated young hip crowds with a mixture of groups; Shop (backet and tie), couples date night and the table next to us was a girl night out. Fast, professional and recommended service (we needed help with champagne choices). We leave from the chef in his restaurant week festive dinner menu: Caesar salad or minenstrone soup starter and a selection of short ribs or swordfish entree. Special birthday news in chocolate was added to Mom's bread pudding dessert (which was included in the restaurant weekly menu). btw them HEAT the coffee cups so your coffee pipping hot when it comes to your table to not mention the accompanying house made sugar cubes! If you are looking for a culinary experience to impress the most valuable parents on their special day, this is a must! Only the right portion sizes, eloquently paired with sides and every bite combines the best of flavors... she has already asked if we could make a return visit to Valentine's Day. Bon appetite for all these foods this is a must try!"
