"Great first visit. I wasn't in New China City, but had heard from a dear friend that she only ordered Chinese food from New China City. When I trust her judgment, I decided to try it myself. I ordered a lunch Special Chicken Black Bean (Fermented Black Bean and an order from Chicken Chow Mei Fun (not a Lunch Special). I was pleased to see how fresh (as many of the reviews here also noticed and not about salted the food was. The fermented black bean was not strong, it is cooked in a way that would be good for someone who would be introduced to this new taste. Hands down the best Chinese restaurant in the area, I'm sad I moved and can't come here so often. Great food and good prices.

Friendly people. Your house fried rice and egg rolls were really good. Good price too. I'll go back there. Recommend this place to others in town.

Delicious flavors!! We ordered Rangoons, Cashew Chicken, lo my, soups, egg rolls, sweet sour shrimps and chicken. It was all delicious! We're traveling from Indianapolis. The hotel restaurant was not so great and New China City saved the evening for this hungry family of 4!! Let's order again when we get to Grand Haven.
