"We were in Effingham and were recommended here. We loved it!!! I had a firehouse burger, waffles and banana cake; and my fist had roasted chicken, potatoes, green beans and apple cake and it was all delicious! Beautiful people, good service and good food!! We live about 2 hours away and will return even if it is only here to eat!!!"

Our first time! We loved the food! I had the fried chicken! Delicious! My husband had the chicken steak. Delicious! Very nice that it was the Oerfect size! Of course we had Dessert! Pecan pier with vanilla ice cream! I wish you were in CT! Back to overview

My mother worked here to fill the salad bar years ago and then finally became a waitress in the coffee shop, I think. I've been with family, friends and others for years. I never had a bad meal here. I love her grilled cheeseburger and my girlfriend and I want to have the salad bar once in a while

As always! The Makkaroni salad is the best! I had Swiss steak, the guys with me had chickens fried steak and the other had fucked chicken breast. The food was Kick Butt! And the salad bar was super fresh and great! Love it! Best 5-star restaurant in 100 miles. Very recommended people visit Niemergs!
