"I decided on this place because of the rating and it just proved now you can’t even trust the ratings. The food is not that great I wanna know what people are eating to give them anything over a 2. I got the fried noodles with extra vegetables it should be fried noodles with onions there were SO MANY ONIONS AND BELL PEPPERS!!!! Extra vegetables just meant more onions I didn’t see or taste anything else they should call it fried noodles and onions. The smell when you walk in I should have known the food wouldn’t be good…SUPER DISAPPOINTED"

I was in the area for work and decided to come here. This place is SUPER good. The service is wonderful. Definitely stopping here every time i come to houston!!

Ordered the Sesame chicken. Chicken was very dry and the orange sauce too sweet. Didn't enjoy. However, this was my first time trying the food. May try a second time to give them a chance.

I ordered the General Tao Chicken from here through door dash, and I had to leave my review here ... It's expensive, $13 for it and you can choose either the rice or noodles. I got the noodles and boy this was really worth the money! The General Tao Chicken was amazingly good, sweet and spicy. It was actually the best I've had ever and the noodles covered in that sauce ... Very very good. The portions were generous which I appreciate as well. I will certainly be ordering again

"Food and drinks excellent! Service outstanding!! I went there on a date with a guy I recently met, and was nervous about going to the restroom and leaving my drink unattended, I told our server about that, and asked her to watch my drink for me and she stood near the bar and watched it for me, I wish I got her name, she was amazing! I plan on going back and informing management about the experience and give her a tip, this was on A Friday January 6, 2023 around 8pm. Wonderful place and kid friendly too! "I tried Hong Kong Cafe for the first time tonight, and I have to say I'm sorry not to try it earlier! I had the house of fried rice and egg rolls. The egg rolls were delicious and crispy and juicy, and the house fried rice was delicious and they give you a great amount and they are not shy with the shrimps and other meats they use. Two thumbs and five stars. This also applies to staff, they were all very friendly and friendly. Can't wait to try the sesame seed chicken, or triple joy."

"On Saturday night at 10:55 PM, all the lights in the restaurant were turned off. When we arrived, someone interrupted us to say they were sorry, leading me to wonder if they were closing down. The staff member mentioned that it was 11 PM, and we had only two minutes left, but she ended up taking three minutes to attend to us. To make matters worse, the young lady at the window, who was the manager, seemed unaware that they had closed. I told her I would call the next day, which got her attention, and she wanted to know who I was going to contact. If their closing time is 11 PM, they should stay open until then. After our shopping trip at Walmart, we were simply looking for a cold drink, but the level of customer service we experienced was disappointing, especially coming from the manager."

"3 1/2 stars feel more like it. My review is similar to others. First time at Floyd's. Service was good (with the exception of running out of beer waiting for someone from the bar to bring it) We ate around 6pm on Sat. Night. The place was packed, we were told 40min wait (family of 4) but only waited about 20mins. Food came quickly but was somewhat lacking. The flavor just wasn't all there for the price. We had the steak (3) shrimp plate which was decent but should have a few more shrimp, and the red fish topped w/Ponchatrain sauce. Without the Pontchartrain sauce, which was excellent but a additional $9, the fish itself was blan, I also feel like at the price these plates should come with more than 1 side. Kids meal were as expected for $6. Fried crawfish tails catfish had no flavor at all.. Service was good, restaurant restrooms were clean, atmosphere was fun but also had a splash of sophistication."
