"What a wonderfully authentic Indian and Nepali restaurant! I must apologize in advance for the lack of food photos I simply couldn?t keep it on my plate long enough! So simple, yet so delicious. My dinner guest and I opened with Samosa Chat; while only coming out a few minutes in advance of our entrees, it was still exquisite and perfectly seasoned a perfect opener to awaken our taste buds! I visited Manitou Springs recently and the appetite for Indian food got me into this place. The ambience was okay but the food was tasteless and never had the curry (paneer) tasted like that. The rice was not fresh and having some kind of smell. The guy in the restaurant was friendly and ambience was okay!! 2 stars just because the tea was good..

We were in Manitou to visit the penny arcade and ended up parking right in front of this place! Being a fan of Indian food, my family and I decided to give this spot a try for dinner! We were quickly greeted and seated by friendly staff, and then spent quite a while perusing the extensive menu, which we all appreciated! We started off with samosas (of course), which unfortunately arrived cold on the inside. The waitress took them back, and returned the same samosas, which had been heated through. They were still very tasty, so I'm not taking away a star for that. These things happen sometimes!
