"We celebrated my birthday here with a party of 16. Tables were set with linens and looked very nice Meals were delicious, although a few portions, i.e. ravoli, smaller than expected. Also, three of the easier orders were served later than the rest. Waiter service was perfect, courteous and professional. Over all, Mario's is a lovely place to eat and I would recommend."

"Their coffee and food is great. The workers Lauren and Rosie are so kind but the Owner is horrible...... we spend 100s of dollars here every week my family and I and enjoyed going there until today...I ordered my coffee as usual and when I got them they didn’t taste right. I told the cashier Lauren and she said they ran out of the vanilla and she needed to make more... so I said no problem and waited I asked for her to remade them just because they weren’t right. She said no problem and was remaking them. When I came back in she told me she had to charge me for them. Which I didn’t understand because I couldn’t drink them they were wrong so I just asked for my money back if she was gonna charge me again for coffees I wasn’t going to drink. The owner came out flipping out saying we always cause problems and to leave. I said I’m not going to leave till I get my money back she continued to scream in front of everyone in the store to leave and then finally I think realized no one is going to leave until they got their money back so she told me to wait in the corner. The cashier told me again nicely that’s why I wanted to let you know I was going to have to charge you before I made them I said thank you and I’m sorry again then owner Wendy came out again and told me to shut up and I told her I was just answering back the cashier she then screamed at her employee to not speak to me. The cops came (thank goodness) we waited outside for them. They even couldn’t believe this that my order was wrong and just wanted it to be remade and the owner wanted to charge me for It!!!! But like they said it’s her business her rules.... even though they don’t agree with them. I just wanted to warn everyone to what my family and I had to go through. So now we will find another small coffee shop to bring our business too. We now understand why they can’t keep staff in there. The owner is awful. I feel horrible for the employees. I will be sure to tell everyone and anyone I know see to beware. It’s very sad because i thought it was a wonderful spot until you meet the owner!"

"First the woman who answered the phone had a nasty attitude, wasn’t helpful when I asked questions. Then the food was not good at all. Very bland, didn’t even taste seasoned or Mexican for that matter. I can bet my life that this isn’t authentic and that this place isn’t actually owned or run by Mexicans bc the food doesn’t come close. I feel bad leaving bad reviews, if the lady on the phone wasn’t so nasty I wouldn’t have and I’m only being honest. Not to mention the prices should be updated on the menu. They shouldn’t be charging so much for sub par food. $8 for 2 empanadas? Menu says $6 so they went up a great deal and they aren’t worth $1 with the taste being dry and bland. They didn’t even bother to mark the empanadas as beef or chicken bc we ordered both and this was a take out order so we had to rip it open to see who was whose. Just all around not worth it I won’t be coming back"
