"The Brown Baer looks like. . .how do I say this nicely. . . not much on the outside, but the food is great and the service is pleasant. I ordered the sloppy Joe and it was big, flavorful, unexpectedly cheesy and extremely sloppy. It came with chips and a cucumber salad, a generous meal.Insider tip: There are no menus other than the one on the chalkboard. You order at the bar."

"Ordnete a Duvall Belgium Ale that actually came in a Duvall Belgium Ale glass. Then I had the halibut. The halibut was served on pure potatoes along with mushrooms, asparagus and Burre blanc sauce. The food and beer were great. To dessert I had the pannacotti with fresh vegetables. It should have been a bigger part at ten dollars. The service wasn't so good. Our waitress was busy with a table of ten or more without help, so she quite ignored me."

"Siebkens Resort Stop In Tavern is an AWESOME place with AMAZING food and a WONDERFUL staff. Had dinner and a few drinks with some friends. The Fried Chicken Sandwich was so good!! "We were looking forward to a nice girls weekend dinner. Problem #1 was it was Homecoming you can't really hold this against the restaurant however it's been my experience in the past service is not optimal which unfortunately was our experience. Our waitress was clearly frazzled and running around serving large groups. She was very apologetic for her lack of attention to us. We asked her about wine choices which she didn't know had to ask bartender. It was very loud and poor acoustics. The food was good and came out quickly. The peach cobbler dessert is oddly served in a small cocktail glass which was rather hard to eat without getting crumble all over the table. May want to consider a bowl. The pictures online were a bit misleading as it's not as quaint and quiet as I would have hoped it would have been.
