"We got takeout on the way home Friday night. We were ravenous, so we started on the yuca frites on the drive home. Such a lovely, crunchy crispy texture, nicely seasoned, and very satisfying. If you put me in a corner with a bucket of them, you'd keep me happy for hours. I thought I'd be sad when they were gone, but! we were home and it was arepa time. This is one of the best authentic restaurants in the Capital region. Been here many times- seasoned chicken and pernil arepas are outstanding. Juices are great too. Also, the people working here are always friendly and helpful.

Total enjoyment!!! Spoke in length with the owner, (the most honored person at all, and so enthusiastic about their food)! She explained a bit about every dish and made me taste several! Gluten-free facility, aware of how to avoid contamination for people with celiac disease. New in the Clifton Park!!!

Stopped in today for the first time to grab some lunch. The arepas are wonderful and filling but not overly heavy. We tried the seasoned chicken and the shredded beef, both of which were glorious. The young man learning the ropes recommended the arepitas fritas, which were delightfully crunchy with the melty gouda, and the brown sugar lemonade, which was the perfect palette cleanser with our meal. Delicious!
